What Does Acupuncture Feel Like?
Most acupuncture needles are extremely thin. You may feel a brief sensation as a needle is inserted, followed by sensations such as heaviness, warmth, tingling, pressure, or a mild ache around the acupuncture point.
Many people find acupuncture treatments calming and relaxing. Once the needles are in place, you can simply rest during your treatment.
